Chief Engineer required for 60m+ Sailing yacht
Viking Crew are looking for two Y1/Y2 Rotational Chief Engineers for 70m sailing yacht
Sought for a cutting-edge new build sailing yacht which will launch in the Summer of 2025.
This is an exciting, once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of an evolving project that will push the boundaries of yacht design and operation.
Essential qualities:
- Y1 or Y2 MCA Chief Engineer certificate. STCW. ENG1
- Proven experience with the management and maintenance of 700V DC electrical generation and regeneration, safety and compliance protocols to ensure the smooth operation of the systems.
- Experience with fully electric propulsion systems is desirable.
- Knowledge of IT control systems is essential.
- Meticulous attention to detail and record keeping.
- Team player ethos essential to success.
- Sailing background is beneficial.
- Fluency in English is a must.
