The Gig: The 2nd Engineer responsibilities is the maintenance and safety and efficient watch in the Engine Control Room and the Technical Systems as designated by the Deputy Chief Engineer and Chief Engineer.
Along with acting upon hotel-related issues requiring immediate attention and delegate repairs where needed. Including mentoring and developing the education of Junior Watchkeepers.
Rotation: 10 weeks on - 8 weeks off.
Salary: Paid in USD whilst on board.
Valid Basic Safety Training, Designated Security Duties, Crowd Management, and C1-D Visa 2nd Engineer Unlimited III/2 are required.
