Viking Crew are looking for a Maritime Safety Instructor to join our MSA in Gibraltar

Requirements:
• Previous experience within the Merchant Navy, Armed Forces, or Firefighting.
• Hold valid STCW certification.
• Ideally hold an OOW/EOOW
• Ideally has a background in Firefighting
• Ideally have experience and knowledge of small craft, life boats and fast rescue boats

Maritime Safety Instructor Tasks will include:
• Delivering all STCW training courses.
• Delivering Operational & Commercial courses.
• Preparation of course equipment and resources for theoretical and practical training delivery elements.
• To assist the safe operation and general maintenance of all operational equipment.
• To work collaboratively as an integral part of the team to deliver consistently high-standard courses.
• Assist with planned maintenance tasks
• Assist in the development of course materials and resources as directed by the Head of Training.
• Ensuring your Continual Professional Development skills are maintained.
• To promote a positive safety culture around the workplace.
• To enable all students, and to create an atmosphere conducive to learning.
